About Us

I'm Stephanie Dobbins, and you might think I started this because I love laundry — that isn't exactly the case. My own laundry piles are just as high as anyone's, if not higher!

My life has been shaped by strong examples of love, service, hard work, leadership, and entrepreneurship. I'm married to Andrew, and as our kids have gotten older, I've felt the desire to shift my time and energy toward a new challenge — something that lets me reach for my dreams and gives me the opportunity to contribute to the community and connect with people.

I believe a laundromat's first priority should be simple: give people a facility where they can do their laundry with dignity, in the very best conditions. Beyond that, it can be something more — a community hub for connection.

That belief shaped every decision at Varsity Laundry: new, efficient laundry equipment; dedicated space to fold; work areas with charging outlets; a children's activity corner so laundry day doesn't have to compete with family time; bilingual signage so every neighbor feels welcome; and safety features like lighting and cameras so you can relax while you're here. This laundromat was built with pride, to strengthen Albion.

Whoever you are, there's a service here you can rely on — self-service laundry, drop-off wash, dry + fold, drop-off bulky service for items like comforters, blankets, washable rugs, and even sneakers. Varsity Laundry is for all of Albion's dirty laundry!
